The existing building is a substantial Dutch Colonial Revival Victorian residence with characteristic gambrel roof and classical turned porch columns. This property is not listed as a designated historic resource and is therefore exempt from review and approval by the City of Redlands Historic Commission. Nonetheless, all proposed modifications were designed in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the preservation and treatment of historic structures, to maintain and preserve the integrity of the historic property.
