The existing building is a substantial Dutch Colonial Revival Victorian residence with characteristic gambrel roof and classical turned porch columns.  This property is not listed as a designated historic resource and is therefore exempt from review and approval by the City of Redlands Historic Commission. Nonetheless, all proposed modifications were designed in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the preservation and treatment of historic structures, to maintain and preserve the integrity of the historic property.

Master Bedroom Suite Expanded and remodeled the existing bathroom by building into adjacent bedroom space several feet. Access through the existing bedroom. The closet space was expanded by reclaiming existing hall closet space.

Additional Elements The treatment of the 2nd level deck addition, railing style and sun room was addressed as well as the restoration of the existing dormer.

Architectural Master Site Plan Master site plan developed to optimize the use of the rear yard area, pool, and original carriage house. Design includes an appropriate fence enclosure to effectively and aesthetically cordon off the pool area.
