The project is a new custom residence designed for .81 acre lot 11 on Stonyvale Rd. in Tujunga Canyon, County of Los Angeles. The size of the residence is between 1,700 – 2,000 sf, with two stories.  Architectural style is Craftsman bungalow.

General Features

Two stories, with 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths.

Open floor plan with generous access to natural light and views to the river.  Views to the adjacent properties were screened. A combination of hardwood floors throughout the house. Smooth wall finish. Ceilings should be a combination of wood decking, with exposed beams and gypsum board, depending on the space. Foyer space is elegant and includes closet storage. An open sculptural staircase leads off the foyer and great room.

Great Room

Dramatic, double height volume, with double windows maximizing views of the river. Site-built heavy timber exposed trusses to support roof with decking above.
