PROJECT

ESRI ‘Building C’ remodel involved a 3,000 s.f. (complete) interior remodel and partial exterior renovation to an existing one story ESRI business building.

SolutionS

The renovated building now features new larger windows which allow more natural light to enter the interior office space. However, the most significant(remodeled) feature of the project is the conference room. Ceiling height at the conference room is now elevated. In effect, this elevated ceiling ‘lifts’ the experiential quality of the space. Beside the expanded new windows and lifted ceiling height at conference room, another notable change was to the facade at the main entrance/conference room. Here a rich facade material called Parklex (Ruby)was used to clad the facade. This was the first time our design firm utilized this highly resilient and visually beautiful facade material, and it would definately not be the last. With improved energy efficiency, lighting and visual character (both inside and out), ‘Building C’ now operates more efficiently and therefore more sustainably for users–an asset to the productivity of any business office building.
