The R. J. Dunn Residence is a substantial, well preserved 2 story Craftsman Style residence.  The historic residence was designed by Los Angeles Architects Hudson & Munsell.  The house and barn were constructed in 1913.

The house has undergone limited renovation over the years and is in excellent condition. All character defining historic detail is intact.  The barn was razed when the current subdivision was created.

The property is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is a local designated historic resource of the City of Redlands.  Modifications to the historic property shall require review and approval by the City of Redlands Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission.  Therefore, all proposed modifications shall be designed in accordance with the Secretary of Interior Standards for the preservation and treatment of historic structures, to maintain and preserve the integrity of the historic property.

Phase 1

Master Bathroom Remodel. The existing closet space was converted to a tiled shower room.  New glass door. Lights and ventilation fan provided. The original claw-foot tub remains as a tub. The existing plumbing fixtures were evaluated and some re-used. New floor tile specified.
